Who should apply

This is a workshop for out of the box learners who have had some previous experience with Spanish, love to travel and are interested in being engaged in community work to further expand their language and cross-cultural skills. Applicants are not required to have previous knowledge of video, audio or editing software. Basic training will be provided during the workshop. Applicants must be able to work with others in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, and be respectful and open-minded when working with local volunteers and community members.

This is not an introductory Spanish language course. Participants will be working side by side with locals engaging in a variety of volunteer and social activities. This workshop is designed for people who need to refresh their Spanish or take their language skills to a new level over the period of one intensive week.

The goal of the workshop is to have people in the lesser language skill levels collaborate with those who are more fluent or have advanced skills in specific areas in order to create the best possible learning experience.

Enrollment is very limited. Teams are very small with four or five participants and one or two native speaker leaders.
