Spanish Songs

I truly believe that through music and kindness we can change the world.
I want to be an educator who can reach all of my students and help them honor who they are and where they come from. I also want everyone in my classroom to encourage and understand their friends’ culture and to create a more diverse classroom.
Most music majors choose to take a language class that will help their singing diction. I chose Spanish so that if I work in a district that is Spanish dominant then I will be able to connect with all students and make sure that no student is left behind.

I have created a document that includes a song from each grade level and its Spanish translation. I also have included a Spanish culture song that can be learned at each grade level. This is a great tool for Elementary teachers who want to create an inclusive classroom for their English language learners.
Through music and kindness, we can change the world.
A través de la música y la amabilidad podemos cambiar el mundo
